This barn was off the beaten path in the southern area of Alabama. I can imagine how it looked in its heyday, but at the time I captured it, it was falling down and starting to rust. The wood, which was also rotting, had taken on a beautiful moss, creating gorgeous tones of purples and pinks. I loved the gate still on the front and could picture the animals it once contained.
