This was a commissioned piece inspired by a couples connection to Seoul Korea. The husband grew up there and the culture is ingrained in his life. He carries significant memories of the land and the city. With an abstract approach, I wanted to capture the life and vibrancy of the city. The focal point of the overlaid Manchurian cranes adds another layer of motion and life.
