When I was in college, I used to drive the beautiful country roads of southern Alabama, stopping to take photographs for paintings and design work. This barn, I believe, was actually an old house being taken over by the surrounding plants and wildlife. I thought about who used to live there, what memories had been made, and how now it was just becoming part of the landscape. I used wild string to represent the vines taking over the structure.
